Our next talk will be via Zoom on Friday 8th January at 8pm. Vincent Raymond-Barker will be telling us a bit about the Loire Atlantique, and in particular about an exchange scheme he set up between a school there and Wolverhampton Grammar School.
Members will automatically receive an invitation to the meeting, but if you are not a member and would like to join us, please get in touch.
Talks and conversation meetings will continue to be on Zoom for now. We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if anything changes. For full details, please visit our Events page, or for a summary that you can print out, click on the Download button below:
Aimed at anyone with a love of France, its culture and language, Hereford French Circle holds monthly meetings at the Friends Meeting House (King Street, Hereford) running from September till May, with a Bastille Day meal around the 14th July. Most of our meetings consist of a talk by a lecturer sponsored by the Alliance Française de Londres, or other native speaker, followed by a short question and answer session. See our Programme of Events for more details.
Talks are in French. They usually last around 60-80 minutes and begin at 8.00 pm (doors open 7.45 pm).
Prior to meetings, we get together for a drink beforehand at De Koffie Pot at the bottom of Bridge Street. Please join us from 7.00 pm onwards (look out for the French flag and the group talking in French). Around 7.45 pm we move on to the Friends Meeting House (a 5-minute walk). Click on the Programme of Events for details of talks.
